California based Chassidic Rock Band "8th Day" was formed By Marcus Brothers Shmuel and Benzi in 2004. They released their debut album "Trach Gut" in 2005 and toured the country uplifting young and old with their fresh sound.
The songs are all original, written and performed by Shmuel and Benzi. With some great musicians backing them up, they also have their brother's Eli, Chaim, Zalman and Yossi who all sing backup on their records. 8th Day just released their follow up album entitled "Brooklyn".
Critics have been raving about it and the fans seem to agree.

In the year 2001, after completing a tribute compilation CD to his late father, Cantor Morris Soberman, he recorded an contemporary large chorus-oriented Hebrew prayer CD which still only used the traditional prayer melodies that he had learned as a child. It made a necessary musical connection with his father, using the traditional while incorporating a more contemporary setting. He maintained the intimate soulful connection for himself by singing all the vocal arrangements and playing all the instruments.

He has now produced a new pop CD titled “Hold Tight”, finally releasing some music that has been written over the last several decades, but never officially released. Enjoy!
